Get your head out of the map! Wander Back allows you to explore with your head held high, deviate from the road oft traveled, and yet always find your way to your destination. Whether you're wandering a city you're visiting, setting a meeting point in a theme park, or going for a walk in the woods, Wander Back will help you get where you want to go. Wander Back uses your phone's GPS and compass to calculate the direction to your target location and its current distance. Use the arrow to guide you in the general direction of where you want to go, without worrying about the specific route to take. Enjoy the scenery along the way. - You can use Wander Back on the iPhone with either the Compass or GPS as the "bearing source". GPS is more accurate, but requires that you are moving to determine your movement direction. The compass works while you are standing still, but may be slightly less accurate. When using the compass, a red "error margin" arc will show you how accurate the arrow currently is. - When using Wander Back on the Apple Watch, we can't determine motion direction using the compass (because your phone is probably in your pocket, pointing who knows what direction). So in order for the arrow to be accurate while using the Apple Watch app, you must be moving. Please note: Location services is only active in the background while actively using the Apple Watch app. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. Please make sure to exit the Apple Watch app when not in use.
